      Yves Le Traon

      Professor in Computer Science - Systems and Software Reliability - Deputy Director of SnT

      Yves Le Traon is professor of Computer Science at University of Luxembourg, in the domain of software engineering, with a focus on software testing, software security, and data-intensive systems. He is head of the SnT SerVal group (SEcurity, Reasoning and VALidation) composed of around 30 researchers of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT), a group of 30 PhD candidates and researchers with expertizes in innovative testing and debugging techniques, software security and  machine-learning systems. His research is inspired from and applies to several industry partners (BGL BNP-Paribas, CREOS, Paypal, Cebi…)  in the domains of IoT, smart grid, Fintech, Industry 4.0l.  His achievements and visibility have been recently acknowledged by an international survey (JSS), ranking him among the top-20 most impactful experienced SE researchers in the past decade, worldwide.
